Businessman Isaac Fayose has addressed the ongoing rift between singer Asake and his ailing father, offering N500,000 to support the elderly man, who is battling a stroke.

The controversy escalated after Asake’s father appeared in a viral video accusing his superstar son of neglect. In response, Asake defended himself, stating that no matter how much he did for his father, it was never enough.

Reacting to the situation, Fayose advised Asake to show mercy while cautioning men to prepare for old age instead of relying solely on their children.

“For Asake and his father, the bottom line is that once you’ve given birth, you have to work hard to make sure you can afford all the things that come with old age. Children are for mummies; daddies are alone. Don’t rely on them. If you’re lucky to have a good mummy championing you in front of your children, then you are lucky. Asake, forget what your mother said and look after your father. Temper justice with mercy, you can only have one father,” Fayose stated.

To assist Asake’s father, Fayose requested his account details, pledging N500,000. He shared a video online, captioning it:

“Please I need @asakemusic father’s account number make I send him 500k, the man is not looking too good 😭😭😭. Man no be God.”

The situation has sparked mixed reactions, with many urging Asake to reconcile with his father.
