Nigerian comedian, Isbae U, has sparked controversy with a humorous skit that pokes fun at Yinka Ayefele’s physical disability.
On his podcast, “CURIOSITY MADE ME ASK,” Isbae U sang a playful song asking one to stand up if they’re happy to walk.
However, when the camera panned to Yinka Ayefele, who has been wheelchair-bound since a car accident in 1997, he was taken aback and couldn’t respond immediately.
The incident has ignited a debate about the limits of comedy and the importance of respecting people with disabilities.
While some found the scenario entertaining, many have criticized Isbae U for mocking Ayefele’s disability, calling it insensitive and disrespectful.
The full video is set to be released at 6 pm, and it remains to be seen how the public will continue to react to this controversial skit.
