K1 De Ultimate Honors His Mother with Track “Mama” Off Ganusi: The Album Fuji Classical

K1 De Ultimate has opened up about the inspiration behind “Mama,” a track from Ganusi: The Album Fuji Classical. In a recently released video, the veteran artist reflects on the influence his late mother had on his music. 

“To the memory of my mother who also taught me about the rudiments of music and singing,” K1 said. “My mother, as a young maiden lady, was a singer—a princess of a sitting king and also a woman whom they wanted her to settle in marriage, but everything was transported on me by God. She transferred it to me and oftentimes she serves as my composer,” he shared.

“She made her own contributions to my music development. I think it’s honorable for me to remember her and have a blessed track for her. That’s what Mama’s all about,” he added.
