Popular socialite and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has responded to online backlash after a video surfaced showing him kneeling before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Taking to social media, he shared a bold message aimed at his detractors.
All of a sudden, dem don love me so much that they are so hurt that CP knelt down for the presidency. Well, me I know say no be wetin dey really pain una. Wetin dey pain una be say — why is it always CP?” In a defiant tone, Cubana Chief Priest compared himself to politicians who once faced public ridicule but later rose to prominence.
“Na so una abuse them till they became the presidency, na so una go abuse me till I become wetin dey my mind to become. Una abuse na blessings in disguise.” He went on to declare his full support for President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, stating that he felt “super comfortable at the feet” of the leaders.
“I understand this game now better. The ones you people show fake love, shower fake praises, and overhype keep losing. Don’t forget — the symbol is the broom. Together, they can never break us.”
Cubana Chief Priest concluded his post with a strong show of loyalty and determination: “On your mandate PBAT, CP shall kneel, stand, walk, work, dance, sleep, grow, and explore.” His response has since sparked further reactions online, with supporters applauding his boldness and critics doubling down on their disapproval.
