The Kwara State Government has urged public sector workers who have not yet registered with the Kwara State Residents’ Registration Agency (KWSRRA) to do so immediately, as those who fail to register will not receive their November salaries or bonuses.

Dr. Hauwa Nuru, the state commissioner for finance, made this announcement in a statement on Monday in Ilorin, explaining that the registration process began in July. She emphasized that the KWSRRA is legally authorized to collect relevant data on all residents and assign unique identities for effective planning, resource management, service delivery, and public safety.

“As part of the administration’s commitment to accountability and transparency, a directive has been issued mandating all state employees, including those across the 16 local government areas, to complete their registration. Starting in November, workers who have not registered will not receive their salary or bonuses,” Dr. Nuru said.
