Lagos police arrested Hassan Taiwo Soweto, Youth Rights Campaign spokesperson, and 17 #EndBadGovernance movement members during a protest at Lekki Tollgate.

The Sunday protest, commemorating #EndSARS victims, turned violent after police intervention with tear gas. Those arrested include:

– Remilekun Orunsolu

– Olamide Thomas

– Micheal Adedeji

– Adeseye Eshe

– Olamilekan Sanusi

Their current location remains unknown. A source told SaharaReporters that police crackdown led to the arrests.

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore condemned the arrests on X (formerly Twitter), demanding immediate release and criticizing protest suppression.

“The most senseless police force in the world. Why attack peaceful protesters? Did Nigeria Police think brute force saves Buhari, Tinubu, and @jidesanwoolu from Lekki Toll Gate massacre accountability? NEVER!!! #RevolutionNow,” Sowore tweeted.
