The Lagos State Government has denied claims on social media that the state is smelly and is filled with big mosquitoes.

In a controversial influencer, Scott Iguma, had, in a now-viral podcast interview, claimed that “Lagos is smelling…There are a lot of big mosquitoes in Lagos.

”Reacting in a post via his official X handle on Saturday, the Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, stated that some individuals are deliberately trying to tarnish the state’s image.
