Nigerian actor and comedian Lege Miami has publicly criticized social media influencer VeryDarkMan (VDM) for mentioning Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in a recent video.
In the video, VDM urged Seyi Tinubu to advocate for Nigerian youth, comparing the country’s potential to what he observed during a recent trip to China. He also remarked that President Tinubu is “old” and surrounded by advisors whose “brains are dusty with cobwebs.”
Lege Miami reacted strongly, issuing a stern warning to VDM and demanding a public apology within 18 hours for what he perceived as disrespect toward the President and his son. He cautioned VDM to “watch his tongue” and hinted at further consequences if the apology was not made.
The controversy has since sparked debate online, with some supporting VDM’s call for youth representation, while others back Lege Miami’s stance on respecting the presidency.
