Leonardo DiCaprio Donates $1 Million To Support Relief Efforts For LA Wildfires

Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has announced a $1 million donation to organizations assisting with relief efforts for the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

DiCaprio, 50, shared the news on Instagram, describing the wildfires as “devastating our city.” Partnering with Re:wild’s Rapid Response Program, his contribution will support both immediate relief and post-fire recovery efforts.

The funds will benefit several organizations, including the LA Fire Department Foundation, California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, California Community Foundation, Pasadena Humane Society, and SoCal Fire Fund. These groups are providing critical resources to first responders, displaced residents, and affected animals.

Other celebrities have also stepped up during the crisis. Beyoncé donated $2.5 million to assist families impacted by the Eaton Fire, while Jamie Lee Curtis and Eva Longoria each pledged $1 million. Jennifer Garner joined World Central Kitchen to serve meals, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle contributed supplies through their Archewell Foundation.

The wildfires, which have claimed at least 25 lives and displaced thousands, are now considered the most destructive in Los Angeles’ history. DiCaprio’s donation joins a growing list of efforts aimed at helping communities rebuild and recover.
