Lil Durk Tied to Another Murder Investigation Amid Ongoing Federal Charges

American rapper Lil Durk is facing yet another legal challenge, as he has been linked to a 2022 murder case in Chicago. According to documents obtained by the Chicago Tribune, authorities are investigating Durk’s alleged involvement in the fatal shooting of Stephon Mack, a purported gang leader.

The probe suggests that Durk orchestrated the killing as an act of revenge against the Gangster Disciples street gang, which he believes was responsible for the murder of his brother, Dontay Banks, in 2021. A federal agent alleged that Durk offered money to individuals willing to kill members of the gang.

Although Durk has not been charged in the Mack murder investigation, which remains ongoing, this development adds to his existing legal woes. In October, Durk was arrested and charged with conspiracy, murder-for-hire, and firearms offenses related to a separate incident involving fellow rapper Quando Rondo.

Durk has pleaded not guilty to the federal charges, which carry severe penalties. The ongoing investigations and legal proceedings threaten to further complicate the rapper’s already tumultuous career.
