Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola recently opened up about her decision to remain single at 54.

In a heartfelt conversation with colleague Emmanuel Ehumadu, Akintola revealed that the loss of her soul mate has left an unfillable void.

When asked about her marital status, Akintola simply replied, “No.” Explaining further, she shared that her partner had passed away, saying, “The person I could have spent forever with is gone.”

Akintola expressed skepticism about finding another partner, asking rhetorically, “Do you know how long it took me to find him?” She emphasized her refusal to succumb to societal pressure to marry for the sake of appearances.

Despite believing in the institution of marriage, Akintola confessed that she hasn’t found someone worthy of replacing her lost love.

Her candid response offered a glimpse into her personal life and her unwavering commitment to waiting for the right person.
