A young Nigerian man cries out for help as he bags a debt of N400M after crashing a rented sports car during an illegal drag race in Lagos.

Eko Atlantic City was rocked by a severe car accident on Saturday, which occurred during an illegal drag race.

The crash, which took place around 4:00 PM resulted in multiple injuries and significant damage, highlighting concerns over street racing and public safety in the area.

Witnesses report that the accident involved two high-performance vehicles, all of which were participating in an unauthorized drag race on the main stretch of the city’s street.

The race quickly turned catastrophic when one of the vehicles lost control and collided with another before running into a concrete pole.

The accident, however, recorded no causality aside from the driver being identified as @Trammania on Instagram who shared his experience.

According to him in a post, his life flashed in his eyes and at the moment, he thought he wouldn’t make it. However, he is faced with a staggering debt of N400M to cover for the damages on the car.

“Yesterday evening 14th of September 2024

I watched my life flash right in front of my eyes

It all happened so fast

Still traumatized

Taught it was all over

Still can’t even believe I’m alive

God really loves me & yesterday confirms all doubts…

I’m grateful to still be here

I’ll never forget.

Head jammed, back hurts, face bruised

Couldn’t even sleep at night too much pain

Flash backs messing up my head already

Hospital bills going crazy

Over 400Million in damages

Corvette Stingray 2022 GONE

Jeep grand Cherokee 2015 GONE

Property damage

Won’t lie I don’t even know where to start from

But I’m glad I’m still here God got his plans for me

Still hospitalized

Imma need all the love & support I could possibly get from the masses,” he stated.
