Manchester United and Bayern Munich agree to deal for Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui

Manchester United has been pursuing the transfers of Bayern Munich defenders Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt throughout the summer, and after many rounds of negotiations between clubs, a deal didn’t seem to be getting any closer.

But according to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the transfer might finally be a done deal:

The news was confirmed by Sky’s Florian Plettenberg, claiming both clubs have finally reached an agreement:

Bayern was looking for €50m for de Ligt and €20m for Mazraoui, and the total package reportedly agreed comes up to the same fee.

While this is a tough set of departures for Bayern and its fans, it means the club can finally get the ball rolling for other targets such as the much wanted Désiré Doué.

What do you think about Bayern losing star players in de Ligt in Mazraoui? Will this end up being a good move for all parties, or will it come back to bite Bayern in the back?
