Manchester United snapped their five-game winless streak with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Brentford at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Ethan Pinnock’s powerful header gave Brentford the lead just before halftime. However, Manchester United responded swiftly in the second half.

Alejandro Garnacho equalized with a stunning strike two minutes after the break. Rasmus Hojlund then sealed the win in the 63rd minute, showcasing his composure with a clever finish.

The comeback victory provides relief for manager Erik ten Hag, ahead of United’s UEFA Europa League clash with Fernerbahce on Thursday and Premier League match against West Ham United next Sunday.

Brentford will look to regroup when they host Ipswich Town in their next Premier League fixture.
