Manchester United has officially announced Ruben Amorim as its new head coach, replacing Erik ten Hag. Ten Hag was dismissed on Monday following Sunday’s loss to West Ham, which left the team 14th in the Premier League standings.

Amorim, currently managing Sporting Lisbon, will assume his new role on November 11. He will oversee his final match at Sporting Lisbon before joining Manchester United after their home game against Leicester City on November 10.
