Marcus Rashford Officially A New Barcelona Player

The English forward landed in Barcelona on Sunday to finalize his loan move from Manchester United, which includes a purchase option of approximately $35 million.

After Nico Williams decided to remain at Athletic Club and Liverpool rejected an offer for Luis Díaz, Barcelona shifted their focus to Rashford. The versatile forward, capable of playing across the front line, arrives on loan in a deal seen as low-risk financially, with the potential for high reward if he can rediscover his best form.

Rashford will wear the number 14 shirt with Barça, and his jerseys are already available at the club’s official store. He is expected to be included in their squad for the pre-season tour of Asia.

An agreement for the loan of the player Marcus Rashford until 30 June 2026 was reached. The agreement also establishes an option to buy the English forward.
