Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa has expressed her willingness to give marriage another chance, despite her previous experience. In a podcast interview with Madame Joyce, the 40-year-old actress shared her thoughts on marriage, relationships, and her personal life.

“I still fancy the institution of marriage,” Toke said. “I do want to get married again… I’m not ruling it out. I’m just taking my time.”

Toke, who was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida from 2014 to 2017, acknowledged the challenges of marriage but emphasized its beauty. She likened marriage to sibling relationships, highlighting the ups and downs.

Recently, rumors circulated about Toke tying the knot with longtime partner Farouk Umar, but she swiftly debunked them, clarifying they were just “besties” and the alleged wedding was her thanksgiving event.

Toke’s candid discussion sheds light on her positive outlook on marriage and relationships, despite past experiences.
