Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, May Edochie, has made a surprising entry into the Nigerian music industry with her debut single “Komole”, a collaborative effort with artist Nwando. The song’s release coincided with the New Year celebrations, catching her fans off guard.

“Komole”, a Yoruba phrase meaning “to bend down”, is a heartfelt anthem of thanksgiving to God, embodying humility, gratitude, and introspection. May Edochie views the song as a testament to her resilience and faith, attributing her ability to overcome life’s challenges to divine grace.

To build anticipation for the single, May Edochie shared the vibrant cover art on her social media platforms, along with a passionate caption. She wrote: “The big surprise is here. KOMOLE by QUEEN MAY & NWANDO. I’m thrilled to share with you all, this amazing soul-lifting song OUT today on all platforms.” She invited her audience to listen to the song, providing a link in her bio, and encouraged them to “bend down (KOMOLE) and dance in appreciation to GOD” as they welcomed the new year.
