Mercy Chinwo and Husband Spread Love and Kindness in Port Harcourt Community

Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Blessed Uzochikwa, brought joy and relief to the Rumudara community in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, through their charitable initiative, the Mercy Is Blessed Foundation.

On December 30, 2024, the foundation, which is the charity arm of Grace and Truth Nation (GNT) Nation, distributed essential food items, cash gifts, and clothing materials to residents in need.

The donation included bags of rice and garri, cartons of tomato paste, and tubers of yams, aiming to provide sustenance and support to disadvantaged individuals, elderly citizens, and single mothers. Uzochikwa emphasized that the primary objective of the initiative is to empower the community, foster self-sufficiency, and demonstrate God’s love.

He explained, “The core of Christ’s message is love, and giving is an inherent aspect of that love. As stated in John 3:16, God’s love is exemplified through giving. Our goal is not only to provide temporary assistance but to establish sustainable means of income, empowering individuals to break free from poverty and uncertainty.”

Through the Mercy Is Blessed Foundation, Mercy Chinwo and her husband are spreading love, kindness, and hope to those in need, reflecting the true spirit of Christianity and making a positive impact in their community.
