Military Men Invade Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company Headquarters

The headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company was invaded by armed military men on Thursday morning.

According to a Punch correspondent, the armed men, dressed in military uniforms, stormed the company’s office opposite MITV in Ikeja, Lagos, at about 7:40 am.

As of the time of filing this report, staff and other individuals in the office were being beaten by the armed men.

The reason for the attack remains unclear.

Although the police have intervened, the soldiers, reportedly led by a woman, have refused to back down.
