Nigerian street-hop artist, Portable, has publicly called out social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) over his recent criticisms of Nigerian music heavyweights Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.

In a viral video, Portable urged VDM to “mind himself” and watch his words when speaking about artists who have made significant contributions both to the music industry and to society at large. He defended the trio, highlighting their philanthropic efforts and personal impact.

“Mind the way you talk about Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid — they’ve helped a lot of people. Burna gave me ₦20 million. Davido donated ₦300 million to charity,” Portable stated.

The singer also referenced producer Don Jazzy’s generosity, directing further criticism at VDM: “The ₦100 million Don Jazzy gave you — till today, how many schools have you built?”
