Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Mohbad, has stated that he will still take legal action against his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, even if a DNA test confirms that Liam is his grandson.
Speaking in a recent interview, Aloba expressed frustration over the lack of answers regarding his son’s death nearly two years later. He also questioned the paternity of Liam, insisting that a DNA test is necessary.
However, he added that even if the test proves Liam is his grandson, he would still sue Wunmi for exposing the child to an unsafe environment.
“I knew nothing about Mohbad’s death. When my son passed, Wunmi was the first person I asked questions because she’s his wife. Even if DNA proves that Liam is my grandson, I will sue her because how can they be taking a five-month-old boy to shows where there are lots of weed smokers? Recently, I saw that they took him to Ibadan. I knew there was a nurse, but I didn’t see her.
“DNA is very, very important. My major concerns now are what killed Mohbad and whether the child he left behind is my grandson. You won’t see me asking about properties. Help me beg the government because I’m tired, I don’t know what else to do.
“For two years now, someone died in the house. Even if it’s the nurse, at least there’s a camera inside and outside the house. What about forensic investigations? Please help me, I don’t know what to do anymore,” he lamented.
