A friend of the late singer Mohbad, who was reportedly present during his final moments, has come forward with shocking allegations against the singer’s wife, Wunmi. The eyewitness, whose identity has not been disclosed, shared his account on Instagram, challenging Wunmi’s version of events.

In his statement, he accused Wunmi of giving misleading narratives in her recent interviews. He recounted the events of September 10, the day before Mohbad’s tragic passing, revealing that he was among those present when the singer sustained an injury at a show. According to him, after Primeboy left, only Wunmi, Mohbad, Darosha, Liam, OG (the driver), and himself were in the Prado jeep heading home.

He alleged that Wunmi was in a heated argument with Mohbad, which escalated to the point where she was physically dragging his clothes despite his injury. He claimed she even threatened to “end his career” like that of another singer, Lil Frosh, whose music career was halted after domestic violence allegations.

The eyewitness also challenged Wunmi’s claim that she provided first aid to Mohbad, stating that it was actually Bami who went to a chemist to get ointments and treated the singer. Furthermore, he questioned Wunmi’s actions during Mohbad’s burial, asking why she threw a white object on his coffin and why she did not protect him when he was alive.

He revealed that Mohbad was still alive when he last saw him around 11 a.m. on Monday, September 11, before leaving the house. He later learned of the singer’s passing the next day and was devastated when he saw Mohbad’s lifeless body outside a hospital in Osapa London.

Additionally, the eyewitness questioned Wunmi’s statements regarding the nurse who treated Mohbad, suggesting inconsistencies in her claims about whether the nurse was sent or came by mistake. He also refuted Wunmi’s allegations that Mohbad’s father’s lawyers were coaching him and others on what to say.

Listing what he described as inconsistencies in Wunmi’s statements, he pointed out:

1. She initially claimed she didn’t witness Mohbad and Primeboy’s fight but later admitted being present.
2. She failed to disclose her argument with Mohbad before his passing.
3. She denied being present when Mohbad received the third injection from the nurse.
4. She claimed to have given him first aid, which he insists was actually done by Bami.
5. Despite her public mourning, she has attended social events, which he sees as contradictory to her portrayal of grief.

The friend concluded his statement by accusing Wunmi of trying to remove herself from critical moments leading to Mohbad’s passing while shifting blame onto others. He passionately questioned her motives, repeatedly asking, “Wunmi, why?” and demanding justice for Mohbad.

The allegations have further fueled the ongoing controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death, as calls for justice continue to intensify.
