Mr. Ibu’s Family and Central Planning Committee Debunk Fake News About Burial Arrangements

The Central Planning Committee (CPC) and family members of the late John Okafor (Mr. Ibu) have clarified that certain publications on social media regarding his burial arrangements are false and misleading.

The committee chairman, Monday Diamond Ani, stated that the CPC has made significant plans for the burial, including a tribute performance, novelty match, and other events to honor Mr. Ibu’s memory.

He emphasized that the family has not solicited funds for the burial and urged those spreading false information to cease their actions.

The committee has also organized a night of tribute on June 26th, preceded by a novelty match on June 25th between celebrities and Rangers International football club at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
