Mr. Macaroni, a prominent Nigerian comedian and activist, has expressed frustration over the disconnect between Nigerian politicians and the citizens they serve. On X (formerly Twitter), he criticized the lack of accountability and arrogance displayed by some politicians.

Specifically, Mr. Macaroni called out Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike for allegedly questioning the intelligence of some Nigerians. He emphasized that politicians are public servants, elected to represent and serve the people, not to wield power over them.

Mr. Macaroni stressed that political positions are not privileges, but responsibilities to address citizens’ needs and concerns. Additionally, he condemned assaults on citizens by politicians, citing Honourable Alex Ikwechegh’s case.

He advocated for consequences and accountability, promoting a culture of respect and humility in Nigerian politics. As a vocal advocate for social justice, Mr. Macaroni continues to inspire Nigerians to demand more from their leaders.
