Flamboyant Nigerian pastor Tobi Adegboyega, based in the United Kingdom, has revealed that his lifestyle is funded by his partner, Mary Olubukola Alade. Adegboyega disclosed that Mary, who works for AON, earns £100,000 annually.

The founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation) stated during a legal hearing that he does not receive a salary from the church. Instead, he is fully supported by his partner. He also shared that he holds a first-class law degree from Nigeria but chose to forgo his legal career to dedicate himself to helping others.

However, Adegboyega has been embroiled in a legal battle with UK immigration authorities. A tribunal recently ruled against him, ordering his deportation to Nigeria. The court found that he entered the UK on a visitor’s visa in 2005 and overstayed after it expired. While he had sought to remain in the UK on human rights grounds, his appeal was dismissed.

During the hearing, Adegboyega explained his penchant for luxury, including designer clothing and expensive cars, claiming that all his possessions were paid for by Mary. He emphasized that he has never taken money from the church and that his flashy lifestyle is meant to inspire young people, showing them there are legitimate ways to achieve financial success, such as entrepreneurship.

“I live with my partner, Mary Olubukola Alade, who earns £100,000 per year working for AON. I spend my time working for the church, for which I am unpaid. I am entirely supported by Mary,” Adegboyega stated. He added, “I believe it is important to present myself in this way to inspire young people to believe in legal avenues for financial success.”
