Naira Gains Slightly Against Dollar in Official Market

The Nigerian Naira recorded a slight appreciation against the US Dollar in the official foreign exchange market. On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the Naira strengthened to ₦1,530.52 per dollar, up from ₦1,532.93 the previous day, marking a gain of ₦2.41.

In the parallel (black) market, the Naira remained stable, with buying and selling rates at ₦1,570 and ₦1,580 per dollar, respectively, as of March 20, 2025.

These developments indicate a modest improvement in the official exchange rate, while black market rates have remained unchanged.
