Nigerian activist and social critic, VeryDarkMan, has refuted claims that Nedu voluntarily resigned from The Honest Bunch Podcast, asserting instead that he was dismissed.

In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), VeryDarkMan insisted that Nedu’s exit was not a personal decision but rather a termination.

This comes after Nedu publicly announced his departure from the podcast, citing personal reasons and the toll of ongoing controversies.

His exit followed allegations by VeryDarkMan, who accused him of leveraging his platform and comedy skits to engage in inappropriate relationships with women in exchange for fame.

In his resignation statement, Nedu described hosting The Honest Bunch Podcast as an “incredible journey” but admitted that the backlash and accusations had become overwhelming.

“In light of recent events, I have made the difficult decision to step away from the podcast. This is not a decision I take lightly, but I believe it is necessary—for my peace of mind, my family, and the integrity of the show itself,” he stated.

However, in a swift response, VeryDarkMan dismissed Nedu’s explanation, asserting in a viral video that he was actually sacked from the podcast.
