New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted on five criminal charges, including wire fraud, bribery, and soliciting illegal foreign campaign donations.

The 57-page indictment, unsealed following an FBI raid on his residence on Thursday, outlines the charges, which stem from an investigation into whether Adams’ campaign received unlawful foreign donations from Turkey.

The mayor and several top city officials have been under increasing scrutiny amid multiple federal corruption probes.

Adams, who was elected nearly three years ago on a platform to reduce crime, has vowed to fight the charges and continue in office.
