The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has named Bruno Labbadia, a veteran German coach, as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.

The appointment was announced on Tuesday via the NFF’s official Twitter handle, with Labbadia set to take the reins of the senior men’s national team with immediate effect.

Following a recommendation from the Technical and Development sub-committee, the NFF’s Executive Committee approved Labbadia’s appointment, as confirmed by General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi.

Labbadia succeeds Finidi George, who recently resigned, and becomes the 37th head coach in the history of the Super Eagles.
