The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, paid a visit to Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi at his residence in Nottingham, United Kingdom. The visit was aimed at checking on Awoniyi’s health and assessing his recovery progress following a serious injury sustained during a Premier League match.

Mr. Gusau, accompanied by members of the NFF Executive Board, expressed his delight upon seeing Awoniyi in good spirits and steadily recovering from his recent surgery. He reassured Nottingham Forest forward of the Federation’s unwavering support and commitment to his well-being. The NFF President also offered prayers for Awoniyi’s swift recovery, emphasizing his importance to both club and country.
