The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended Ahmed Tailor, accusing him of involvement in sponsoring and distributing Russian flags to protesters in Kano State.

According to the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Tailor was found with seven Russian flags at the time of his arrest.

Adejobi alleges that Tailor is a key figure in promoting activities considered treasonous, including the display of Russian flags and calls for anarchy in Kano and across Nigeria.

The arrest occurs amid ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests in northern Nigeria, where some demonstrators have been seen waving Russian flags.

These individuals express discontent with the Nigerian government’s policies and are seeking alternative systems of governance.

The allegations against Ahmed Tailor have not yet been tried or proven in a court of law.
