A Nigerian man, known as Young C, sparked an online frenzy on Wednesday, May 8, by attempting to spend 24 hours buried alive in a coffin.

He announced his plan on Instagram, vowing to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night.

In a video update, he confirmed, “I’ll be buried in this casket for the next 24 hours. This is real, not fake. And the amazing part is that I’ll go live at night.”

After eight hours, Young C shared another update, revealing physical discomfort and excessive sweating. “I’ve been buried alive for over eight hours now. My camera is still rolling, and I have light down here, but I’m sweating profusely,” he said.

In a subsequent update, Young C expressed concern about the heat and his rechargeable fan running out of power.

He also showed a container he was using to urinate in since starting the challenge.

The stunt has sparked mixed reactions online, with many expressing concern for his safety and others praising his endurance.
