Nigerian Police Confirm Arrest of Verydarkman for Impersonation

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has officially announced the arrest of prominent social media critic, Verydarkman, whose real name is Martins Otse. VeryDarkMan arrest stems from his unlawful wearing of a Nigerian Police uniform in a viral social media video.

According to the police statement, Otse will appear in court today to face charges of impersonation.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command is leading the prosecution, underscoring the NPF’s commitment to safeguarding its symbols and preventing misuse.

The police emphasized that impersonation is a serious offense, and the NPF will not tolerate unauthorized use of its uniforms or symbols. This arrest and prosecution serve as a deterrent to others who may attempt similar actions.
