Jaywon has extended an olive branch to Ayra Starr after his post sparked outrage for seemingly mocking her Grammy nomination snub.

After the 67th Grammy nominees were announced, Jaywon shared a photo posing with two Grammy awards, which many saw as a jab at Ayra Starr’s non-nomination despite her remarkable year.

Clarifying his intentions on X, Jaywon wrote:

“Please tell Ayra Starr I’m sorry she wasn’t nominated for this year’s Grammys. I’m a huge fan of her music; she’s one of Africa’s best female vocalists.”

Jaywon emphasized his support for uplifting artists:

“On this side, we elevate, not pull down, for the future.”

His apology comes amid an ongoing online feud with Ayra Starr, demonstrating a willingness to put differences aside and celebrate fellow artists’ achievements.
