Nigeria’s Growth Hindered by Bad Leaders – Davido

Davido has criticized the lack of effective leadership in Nigeria, describing it as a major barrier to the country’s development.

Speaking on the ‘Elevate Africa Convos’ podcast, the singer noted that Nigeria has immense potential but is held back by poor governance.

“If you can survive in Nigeria, you can survive anywhere,” Davido said. “I believe the only thing missing is the right leaders to guide us. Once we get that right, nothing can stop us.”

This follows his recent controversial remarks during a podcast interview, where he advised Americans against relocating to Africa, particularly Nigeria, citing the country’s struggling economy.

In another interview on The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido further criticized the state of governance in Nigeria, stating that the country lacks true democracy.
