Nollywood Mourns: Veteran Actor Columbus Irisoanga Passes Away

The Nigerian entertainment industry is in mourning following the demise of veteran actor and academic, Columbus Irisoanga. Actress Hilda Dokubo broke the news on her Instagram page, paying tribute to the late actor.

Columbus Irisoanga was a distinguished figure in both the entertainment and education sectors. As a senior lecturer in the Theatre Arts department at the University of Port Harcourt, he inspired countless students.

His acting career, which spanned multiple decades, was marked by memorable performances, including his iconic role as the chief priest “Igbudu” in the 2001 film “Isakaba.”

Irisoanga’s passing has sparked an outpouring of grief from his colleagues, friends, and fans, who remember him as a talented actor and dedicated educator.
