Nwabali’s Penalty Heroics sends Super Eagles to AFCON Final

Nigeria’s Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on penalties in the semifinal of the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Eagles won 4-2 on penalties, following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.

South Africa-based Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was the hero of the night as he saved two penalty kicks, to send Nigeria to her 8th AFCON final.
