Pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, General Overseer of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, has once again stirred controversy, this time with a bold declaration that he is considering running for president in 2027.

In a viral video from a recent sermon, the outspoken cleric announced that the time had come for him to enter the political arena.

With his trademark confidence, he argued that Nigeria needs young, energetic leaders who can drive the nation to greater heights. According to him, past and present leaders have been hindered by age and complacency, failing to bring about real progress.

Turning to his congregation with a playful glint in his eye, Odumeje asked if they would support his political ambition. The response was overwhelming, as the church erupted in thunderous cheers, signaling strong backing from his followers.
