In a showcase of skill and endurance, Oleksandr Usyk solidified his place among the greatest heavyweight champions early Sunday, defeating Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Ukrainian retained his WBA (Super), WBO, and WBC heavyweight titles, extending his flawless professional record to an impressive 23-0.

Their second meeting delivered 12 thrilling rounds, with both fighters battling for dominance. Usyk’s tactical brilliance and resilience ultimately neutralized Fury’s aggression, earning him a unanimous victory with judges scoring the fight 116-112.

After the match, the humble champion reflected on his performance. “I win, it’s good,” Usyk said, joking about his ability to peak in the final rounds. “I don’t know, maybe I am training,” he laughed, crediting his family’s support. “My wife helps me, my children. My two sons have won judo belts. My son said, ‘Papa, you next.’”

Usyk acknowledged Fury as a worthy opponent, calling him “a great fighter” and describing their clashes as “unbelievable 24 rounds” that defined his career.

In an emotional moment, Usyk dedicated his victory to his late mother and “all mothers of Ukraine.”

Looking ahead, Usyk hinted at more battles to come. “I can more. I am ready. I go back home, rest,” he said, leaving fans eager to see what the future holds for the heavyweight king.
