Ondo Election: Governor Aiyedatiwa Leads in 15 LGAs as Collation Resumes at Noon

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is leading in the 15 local government areas declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He also emerged victorious in the two local government areas announced when collation resumed at 5 a.m. These are Akure North and Okitipupa.

Results Declared:

Akure North

APC: 14,451

PDP: 5,787

Registered Voters: 87,293

Accredited Voters: 21,608

Total Valid Votes: 20,942

Rejected Votes: 648

Total Votes Cast: 21,590

Okitipupa

APC: 26,811

PDP: 10,233

Registered Voters: 126,021

Accredited Voters: 38,814

Total Valid Votes: 37,597

Rejected Votes: 858

Total Votes Cast: 38,455

Collation Adjourned

After the announcement of these two local government areas, the collation was adjourned until 12 noon today.

The remaining local government areas yet to be announced are Ese Odo, Ilaje, and Odigbo.
