Outrage as Adamawa governor appoints 47 Media Aides

There has been an outburst of criticism and knocks as Adamawa state governor Ahmadu Fintiri announced on Twitter that he has appointed 47 media aides.

Governor Fintiri in the post listed the 47 aides to include: 2 Special Advisers, 10 Senior Special Assistants and 35 Special Assistants on Social Media and Content Creation.

According to the governor, the 47-man team “will play a crucial role in enhancing our communication efforts and strengthening our public engagement, Together, we’ll work towards achieving our goals and serving the people effectively

However, the appointments have been greeted with sharp criticism from lots of Tweeps who lamented that in a period when Nigerians are going through hardship, a governor is appointing 47 media aides. Some others queried the reason behind the appointment of such a large number of media aides.
