Oyo Police Dismiss Two Constables for Extorting Dutch Tourist

The Oyo State Police Command has dismissed two police special constabulary caught in a viral video extorting money from a Dutch tourist along Moniya-Iseyin road a few weeks ago.

The dismissed officers identified as Kareem Fatai and Jimoh Lukman were paraded before newsmen at the State Police Command, Eleyele, Ibadan. The dismissed officers were stripped of their uniforms to further confirm their unceremonious exit.

Parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Adebola Hamzat reiterated the commitment of the police to zero tolerance for corruption and other related offences.
