The Oyo state chapter of the National Union of Teachers (NUT) has announced that it is withdrawing from the ongoing strike action of the Nigeria Labour Congress.

The Assistant State Secretary of the NUT in Oyo state, Amuda Adegoke in a memo, appreciated the teachers for complying with the strike action on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The union however directed its members to resume work on Thursday, due to the “harmonious working relationship between the organized labour and the Oyo state government”.
