An update has been provided on the autopsy results of late singer Mohbad, which were delayed due to various factors.

During the coroner’s court proceedings, the pathologist revealed that the cause of Mohbad’s death could not be determined due to the decomposition of his body.

The pathologist explained that the delay in conducting the autopsy, coupled with the fact that Mohbad was buried for over a week before being exhumed, made it challenging to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Regarding the rumor of fresh blood on his coffin, the pathologist clarified that the red color seen was a result of rain and soil mixture, not blood.

Additionally, the pathologist confirmed that Mohbad was not buried alive and had indeed passed away before burial.

The autopsy also ruled out strangulation and poisoning as causes of death.

Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023, sparked controversy and speculation, with many seeking justice for his supposed killers.

However, the police have cleared his record label manager, Naira Marley, and the label crew of any wrongdoing.

Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and close friend, Prime Boy, were also suspects but have not been charged with any crime related to his death.
