Paul Pogba is officially eligible to return to professional football as his doping ban ends today, March 11, 2025.
The French midfielder was initially handed a four-year suspension in September 2023 after testing positive for elevated testosterone levels following a match against Udinese. However, his ban was reduced to 18 months upon appeal, allowing him to resume training in January and compete in official matches from March.
During his suspension, Pogba and Juventus mutually terminated his contract in November 2024. Since then, he has been training individually to maintain his fitness. While he has attracted interest from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Brazilian clubs, his priority remains playing in Europe. Olympique de Marseille has emerged as a potential destination, as Pogba aims to stay in contention for the French national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Now free to return to competitive action, Pogba is exploring opportunities to reignite his career.
