President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, calling him a transformational leader with vision and determination.

The commendation came on Tuesday during the official commissioning of the newly rehabilitated International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja — a facility that has now been renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in the President’s honour, according to Western Post.

In his remarks, President Tinubu encouraged Wike to remain focused on his work despite criticism. “Don’t pay attention to the busybodies and bystanders. Whatever they say, continue your good work,” Tinubu said.

He further praised Wike’s leadership qualities, stating: “You are a transformational leader. You have the foresight, the vision, and the determination to succeed.”

The event marked yet another milestone in the ongoing efforts to revamp key infrastructure within the FCT.
