Peter Obi Visits Ibrahim Babangida In Minna For National Discussions

Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, visited former Head of State Ibrahim Babangida at his residence in Minna, Niger State, on Thursday.

Obi described the visit as an opportunity to discuss national issues with the elder statesman.

Sharing photos from the visit on his official X account, the former Anambra State governor said the meeting was also a chance to wish Babangida a Happy New Year. He noted that the former military leader’s wisdom and perspectives remain invaluable to shaping the nation’s future.

Obi concluded his message with optimism, stating, “A new Nigeria is possible.”
