Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaves Marseille to join Saudi side Al-Qadsiah

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (35) has officially left Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille and signed for Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Qadsiah, both clubs have announced.

The 35-year-old Gabonese international was heavily linked to a move to Saudi Arabia on the back of a remarkable debut season with Les Phocéens.

The former Arsenal striker scored 30 goals with the Ligue 1 side in all competitions.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang proved notably lethal in the Europa League, a competition he became the outright record goalscorer with 31 goals in total.

Marseille eventually fell to eventual winners Atalanta in the semis.
