Police Seize Dogs After Security Guard’s Death in Lagos Estate; Owner Arrested

The Lagos State Command has confirmed that it has seized three dogs allegedly responsible for the death of an unidentified security guard at Pinnock Estate in the Ilasan, Lekki area of Lagos.

Police also reported that Salisu Mustapha, the owner of the dogs, has been arrested.

This information was shared in a statement by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, on Wednesday. He noted that the dogs are currently in police custody and are being well cared for to ensure humane treatment.

“The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, psc+, mnips, assures residents of the estate and the entire people of Lagos State that the ongoing investigations will be thorough and justice will be served,” the statement added.
